Autumnal Awareness

Time remorselessly rambles down the corridors (trails) and streets of our lives, but it is not until autumn that most of us become aware that our tickets are stamped with a (final) destination.

As I celebrated the recent passing of summer and the autumnal equinox, once again I took the opportunity to accept the fact that I am deep into the autumn of my life. And I found myself wondering … before my ‘final’ destination just how much more trouble do I want to get into?

  2. . . . about as much “trouble” as you may be comfortable with! To paraphrase Charlie Munger, best friend of Warren Buffett, “All I want to know is the final destination, then I can avoid that place!”

  3. I simply can’t imagine you getting into any less “trouble” than you have until now! You continually amaze me with your courage to try new things. Remember to keep sharing your trouble with the rest of us so that we can know what you are up to. It always puts a smile on my face when I get the notice that there is a new story from my friend Carol waiting to be enjoyed!
